My New Toy- Washburn Mandolin M3SW
Occupation: Web Designer and Executive Assistant
Hobbies: of course Ham Radio, Photography, collecting Lighthouse
miniatures, collecting postcards from the 1900-1950's, poetry, songwriting and
playing trivial pursuit with my friends until 2-3am. (my least favorite thing
about the trivial pursuit hobby is driving home) hehe I'm an avid fan of the minor league baseball team the Charlotte
Knights and major league baseball's Atlanta
Braves and Chicago White Sox.
My favorite music includes Jennifer Knapp (Christian Rock), oldies, Praise and worship,
Country and I pattern my own musical style from
these varied influences.
I'm seriously thinking about re-entering my first career -
Career Student. lol
I love to travel and have been to nearly half the states. No
foreign travel for me yet unless I win a free trip to Australia :) I love
traveling to lighthouses and photographing them.
I will soon be featuring some of my photography on my website.
I'm a member of the Shelby Amateur Radio Club. This club is the

Well I thought I'd never get a
vanity call sign but one day I decided I would honor the one person that was
responsible for my dad's involvement in amateur radio. K4ZXN was the call of my
father's 10th grade science teacher in Hope Mills, NC. My call sign change was
done as a tribute to Jesse Rhue, the man responsible for my dad, my mom and
eventually myself becoming an amateur operator. Even though I never met the man,
I feel as if I knew him through the stories my dad has told me.
